In addition, the added fertilizer feeds grass to crowd out future weeds and build strong, deep roots to withstand Southern stressors. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4.25. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 7.25. The product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. Do not apply to Bermudagrass.
